About Project

Denver Metro Volunteers wanted to increase the number of volunteering as well as showcase the amazing nonprofits working on behalf of the community.  Jim and his partner came up with the idea of a Volunteerathon, similar to a TV telethon, but it raised volunteer hours, not money.  They wrote, produced, and c0-hosted  the event which raised over 2 million volunteer hours for Colorado non-profits, becoming the largest Volunteerathon in the country.
