As a remedy, design thinking is a proven and repeatable problem solving protocol that anyone can employ to achieve big results. Design thinking combines creative and critical thinking that allows information and ideas to be organized, decisions to be made, situations to be improved, and knowledge to be gained. It’s a mindset focused on solutions and not the problem.
You don’t have to go to Stanford and pay tens of thousands of dollars to experience design thinking. Schedule a workshop and learn it over lunch time.
This is a 90-minute fast-paced mock project where we’ll run though a full design cycle. Participants pair up to interview each other, create a point-of-view, ideate, and make a new solution that is “useful and meaningful” to their partner. Little talking. A lot of doing.
Through this experience, you will take away some of the basic principles of design thinking and start to adapt them into your personal and professional routines.
NO PREVIOUS DESIGN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We’ll provide all the information you need to be successful.
